According to JDW there should be more news on the way, just not at the comic con.
"Jordan: You’re going to find out more about all of these three books at the panel for sure. You’re going to see some art at the panel. You’re going to hear from people who are working on them. And I can’t say much about them beyond that. Are there other books being worked on? Yes. But I don’t think any of them are going to be announced at the panel, but shortly thereafter. There are other things that will be connected to these that you’re going to hear about as well."

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
My initial reaction is that I'm a bit disappointed that Rise of the Powers of X is an AU. I've had my fill of AU futures at this point. I'm sure Gillen will make it interesting, but as of now I'm not feeling overly excited about either mini.
Also my obligatory, "The complete lack of Warren is disappointing but not surprising" take.
Sorry to say it… but yeah. Fall looks like very standard Duggan stuff. Rise doesnt seem to be playing with any of the REALLY interesting stuff from Immortal (Jean, Hope, and Exodus), but perhaps he just doesn’t want to spoil anything. Also Gillen had an entire 3 month event to do his interpretation of a depressing future for the X-Men. And while I’m glad Ewing is still writing Storm, a whole series just to bring Magneto back is smaller scale than the planet wide and intergalactic stories he’s been telling in SWORD and Red.
Ultimate X-Men… is a choice. They said if Armor can’t win these votes then we gon make her the STAR of this new universe’s X-Men.

I guess the Chimera DNA Rasputin got from Kate manifested more than just her powers.
I'm not surprised. They're wrapping up the era with how it started and PoX was future AU. But yeah, another future AU from Gillen, I wasn't super impressed with SoS.
This is why you don't do alternate reality stories every single got-danged month because here the next event is another alternate future just like the last one lol. smh
Also, the promo art has the mansion and more people in old costumes. I just.
Nothing very exciting revealed. Duggan's writing is not super appealing to me, I might just keep up with the spoilers. The cast and AU setting of Gillen's book don't interest me. Vecchio still feels like a bizarre choice for the RoM book, but that's still the title I'm most looking forward to. Ultimate will depend on who else is in the cast of the book, Armor does nothing for me.
Yeah I'm not too keen on another AU at this time, particularly when the solicit says, "Ten years ago, the mutants returned from their exile to try and reclaim the Earth from the forces of Orchis. They failed." After the Gala I don't want to see them fail again. LOL
Duggan's book gives me more hope because of Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Logan on the cover. Hopefully that means there's a chance we'll see a lot of the X-Men compared to the small group we're currently seeing in the title.

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
My biggest takeaways...
>Hello, X-Mansion! I'm glad to see you return in some capacity, even if as just one of the X-Men's bases.
>Lady Mandarin AND Kwannon!
>Age of Apocalypse Colossus?!
Looking good in your Generation X costumes, Synch and Penance!
>Will poor Penance get separated from M finally? Penance is cool on her own.
>Scott and Jean ruling from a Krakoan throne with bearded Xavier, Cable, and Emma as their shadow council behind the scenes?
>Stop manspreading, Cyke!
>Get Rogue out of her worst costume, please. It's barely better than Jean in the miniskirt.

But yes for the moment I am disappointed seriously at what point it is logical that according to Orchis the humans attack the mutants and condemn Cyclops to death... the impression of having returned 4 years before Krakoa when the mutants was killed after the disappearance of the x-men in age of x.
even though it makes sense, I'm not a fan of the fight against the dominion taking place in an alternate future and I feel Moira's reset at the end.

Al Ewing made Storm great again! Storm greatest challenge might not be a matter of destruction, but creation.
