Why does Superman have that machine anyway? Is he just giving people tans or is there something more eugenics-y going on when no one's looking?

I wanna say I saw a scan of a more modern comic that acknowledged that these comics did exist in the fictional Marvel U, but pointed out how troubling they were.

He did have a rad trading card though, dudes. It was epic.

GREAT COVERS, EVERYONE! I'm glad went with this theme instead something else.

He makes Adam X, the X-Treme seem nuanced in comparison.

That's this movie. It also features Wayne in yellowface as Genghis Khan. It's a terrible film all round.

However, the true shame of this film is that it was filmed in Utah downwind of nuclear test sites. Of the 220 crew members, 91 (comprising 41% of the crew) developed cancer during their lifetime, while 46 (or 21%) died from it. This includes director Dick Powell, and stars John Wayne, Susan Hayward and Pedro Armendáriz (who committed suicide after being diagnosed with terminal cancer).

Iron Maiden gets my vote since I'm still a fan of Disco music!

I go babyblob since I was looking for a Cosby cover, but I was going the Fat Albert route and couldn't find one I liked.

So this week I vote nx01a for a few reasons...

There's the well meaning yet now sorta cringe approach to the topic. The premise is based on a book by a real life reporter who disguised himself as a black man to learn about the black experience in the late 50's/early 60's. The title is from a controversial 70's movie called "I am Curious ( Yellow)". Plus, 70's mini skirts!
