Haha, I really don't think you give Kaminski enough credit.

Despite all characters dealing with continuity fuzziness these days I think Bizarro is particularly difficult because it's treated more like a title than a name. Mongul too but then he gets those super long stories that cover the was, is, and will be at the end.
Probably not, no way would Waid want to riff on the Triangle Era the way Williamson and PKJ have. That is Kaminski’s preference probably. It’s a sign of how influential he’s become nonetheless.

If Williamson does have his own Bizarro story he wants to do, maybe he plans to use the clone since Lex made that, and Lex is basically the secondary protagonist of Williamson’s run.

The only hope I have for Aaron on Superman is he's stated in the past that he's more of a DC fan than a Marvel fan.

So hopefully, he'll put his best foot forward because his last Marvel stuff wasn't great (and that's putting it lightly).

It is simple to remember, if story is cool then it is Multiverse Bizzaro. If story sucks then it is clone Bizzaro.

This crossover will have massive ramifications not just for Superman but across all of the DC Universe
Oh for **** sakes, I was interested in the idea since I remember Jason Aaron saying you haven't written a comic unless you write Superman. Now I'm not. Why is everyone so hellbent on ramifications across the DCU? I get it's a buzzword (phrase) at this point, but it's annoying. Remember when Tom Taylor saying his Son of Kal-El was to change the DCU? Yeah, nothing came about that.

I think that bit was about Williamson's story, not Aaron's.

I'm also skeptical of Aaron, but maybe he can deliver on a Bizarro story.
Given his run on Thor, I’d worry that we’ll soon be learning that Superman’s trunks are the true source of his powers, that as soon as Lois dons them she’s instantly better at fighting crime than Superman, that Pa Kent is a drunken coward….

Once I could have gone on, but thankfully most of the Thor run details magically disappeared from the vaults of my memory.

Correct, the crossover will be for the Brainiac story. Aaron is a self-contained three parter.

Oh no Aaron also has tremendous daddy issues, at least that can be assumed from his over the top character assassination of Odin.

Which thinking about it, that does fit perfectly with Oz/Modern Jor-El.

I know. I was interested in the idea of what Aaron and Williamson was going to do. Then, I read ramifications.... It's like a day doesn't go by and there's big ramifications somewhere.
