Default All in good fun, prove you're a cranky old Marvel fan.

The only legit headquarters for the Avengers is Stark's 5th Ave. Mansion (if you twist my arm, I'll allow the LA Compound).

Rogue was best with Ms Marvel's powers.

MCU Iron Man died in 2019. Marvel's Iron Man died in 2008.

I miss when the Avengers lived in a mansion and Superheros actually had lives outside being Superheroes. Now everybody's got powers and just does Superhero stuff.

Yeah, I legit miss when most superheroes had secret identities.

Most DC characters still have but apart from Spider-man and Daredevil, it seems Marvel has moved away from it completely.

Ironman should have a bad heart, made worse the longer he pumps his armor's energy into its various gimmicks

Carol Danvers' Ms. Marvel costume was great.

The original with the bobcut or the successor with the flowing mane?

Why is sharan not in marvels? Second ms marvel ignored again! She lasted over 43 issues in fantastic four but is always ignored.

    "More old man grouch"--

Back in my day being an avenger was a big thing as they could go years without a new member! It was a huge thing to join the avengers! Today it's more "who isn't an avenger!"

Remember when the New Mutants were all subversive for having five characters, and three of them were girls, and three of them were POC? Before those three blondes showed up (Doug, Amara, 'Yana) because there weren't enough white people?

I remember as a kid going to the local drug store in town with like $3, going over to the old noisy comic spinner rack, picking out a stack of comics. Now $3.00 will buy you half a comic. lol

    Secret identities and private lives.
    Peter and MJ were married
    Avengers Mansion
Writers who worked on multi-year runs and actually developed characters beyond their single big villain arc.
D-Man was written as a good character and not a joke.

Kid Cable is trash. Give me OG big muscles and guns Cable all day, every day.

And, yes, since Cable is now over three decades old as a character, this counts as being a cranky old Marvel fan. It's like hearing Nirvana or Pearl Jam on the classic rock stations now.

    J. Jonah Jameson, Thing, and Logan should smoke stogies especially Logan he has a healing factor and for crying out loud most comic book readers aren't even kids anymore.

I remember when there was only *one* Wolverine, and Captain America said that he'd *never* be an Avenger.

I remember when Sabertooth was a super-strong Iron Fist / Spider-Man villain who didn't regenerate (having facial scars in multiple appearances from a fight with Spider-Man).

I remember when Wolverine's mutant power was *super-speed* (enough to get in the middle of a fight between the Hulk and Wendigo, and neither of them could hit him, and if they did, they would have murdered him!) and his claws came off when he took off his gloves. I also remember when Dave Cockrum invented a character named Wolverine (along with Nightcrawler!), who looked like Logan (complete with hair horns and 'Fang' costume) for DC, they rejected it, and he went to Marvel where someone else mysteriously had the same idea six months later...

I remember when Drax was skinny, smart, could fly and throw energy zaps.
