Wolverine was better when he could actually die.

Now he's like a single cell organism that kills mooks that can't kill him. Very little tension except when he's fighting guys far above him but realistically, who can kill him these days?

Venom and Carnage are overpowered now.

Danny Ketch was the best Ghost Rider.

And don't get me started on the omnipotence-endowing weapons and artifacts. Really, no one cared to use any of these devices before humanity arrived on the scene? Life itself should have been wiped out countless times over before Thanos ever came along, if Knull truly hated it that much. But here we are and none of it makes sense.
Exactly. The "cosmic powers" outside of Galactus rarely appeared.

For example, back in the day, it was a pretty big deal to see a Celestial in a comic and virtually nothing could stop them. I still remember how they pwned Odin and entire pantheons in Thor #300. It was awe inspiring, it was special.

Now, they're everywhere and even Knull killed one.

    Yep.

His version was so cool that they "grafted" his powers onto Johnny Blaze.

Most modern attempts at Ghost Rider are basically just Dan Ketch with John Blazes name and origin.

Darn it! My preference will always be for Trenchcoated Blaze with Hellfire Shotgun!! Johnny's most interesting period (IMHO):

^^^Something I liked is they managed to reboot the GR character w. Danny Ketch and also gave Johnny Blaze a cool (for that era) new gimmick; they didn’t just forget him, and he actually acted as a mentor to Danny, teaching him the lore, and making an actual biker out of him (as Danny knew nothing about motorcycles initially).
Johnny was treated w. a modicum of respect which went a long way towards my being okay w. a new GR.

D-Man was a well written side character and not a joke.
All I wanted was to be unconditionally loved while never having to work on my flaws. Is that so much to ask?

Yes. I remember when Wolvie got stabbed through the side of his body from Ogun in the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine Mini. My young mind was thinking that is the end of him, lol.
The more powerful he got, the less interesting he became. Today, I won't even bother to read anything Wolverine related.

Same with Deadpool, after the Christopher Priest run he became a joke.

Danny Catch is my Ghost Rider too.

Power Creep should be a character that makes fun of the power creep has gotten out of hand with some characters. The character just keeps getting more powers throughout each encounter until they win. To the point where their final power is just "I win because I'm Power Creep."
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.

There is only one Beyonder. He might be the single most powerful being in the multiverse.

If he's not, then the Living Tribunal is.

Wolverine's adamantium weighs less than ten pounds. That was established by Larry Hama, probabaly the best Wolverine writer ever. I don't know where this 100 pound skeleton thing came from or why so many people keep repeating it. Adamantium is SUPPOSED to be lightweight. That's one of the reason they used it.

The only Omega that should be in X-books is Red.

Actually he has died so often in the last year that villians have taken to using his discarded skeleton to make deadly assassins.
