“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
Congrats Bryan!
I'm surprised the little Tribbles didn't get a vote.
"We're pregnant... with flavor!"
Congratulations Bryan!
Congratulation Bryan, if you hadn't been forced to change your cover cause you accidentally selected mine, you'd have not won.
And thank you to Bryan and ChadH for voting for me.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
Congratulations to Bryan for a friendly cover which was the only cover to show us how babies are truly born, like scientifically and stuff.
And the peak of the week where the captain once again babbles on about something he may have learned. Birth. It is truly a miracle by any definition of the word and is an experience that enriches and surprises us when we watch. There's also the shared experience in having taken part in it as well. Newborns not having had a bad hair day, but 40 bad hair weeks. Parents anxiously counting fingers and toes. Skipping the toes is a common rookie mistake which we need to avoid.
Gracious thanks go to nx01a, Zelena, and LordMikel for their heartfelt, honest, and generous votes. Any contest in which I have to worry about coming up with a new theme is a good one.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
Congrats, Bryan!
Yay, Bryan!
