Something that completely bonkers could lead to more absurdity and outright hallucinatory goodness until the run ends and we find out that the entire run has been a fever dream brought on by bad blowfish sushi that almost kills Peter.

Right now, I'm buried in Amazing Spider-man Epic Collections and getting ready for the PS5 game this evening.

I must say going back to read Conway/Romita's work on the Spider-man has been a blast. It's night and day compared to what's happening now.

In about a third of his appearances (and not being billed as a potential linchpin of this run), Rek-rap has a more coherent voice, mission statement and power-set than Chasm.

And they should be, especially given how his 50th anniversary as a published character passed without much being done to celebrate it. That said, hoping he gets something good in his Gang War miniseries.
