…I think Scott Kolins would absotively NAIL an Hourman book. It’s the best I’ve ever seen him look.
Andy Kubert on Ka-Zar was perfect. He drew the whole Plunder family, the jungle, the dinosaurs, everything really, so well. Everything jumped off the page.
Mike Wieringo was the best FF artist since John Byrne, who was the best FF artist since Jack Kirby. Mike combined a smooth modern style w. an old school sense of wonder even Byrne couldn’t match.

I respect your opinion and disagree. Just a taste thing.
When did George Perez draw Hourman, exactly?
I Googled when I read your op, and only found this…:
Which IS really good!
Ron Lim = The Silver Surfer
John Romita, Sr. = Mary Jane Watson
Dan DeCarlo: Betty and Veronica
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
It was when he was on JLA, issues 195-197, a JSA teamup against the Secret Society of Supervillains. If I'm not mistaken, that's also where he debuted what became the Ultra-Humanite's iconic albino ape design.
