Fall of the House of Usher had Madeline Usher played by Mary McDonnell was such a picture perfect Veronica Cale I just... wow. She's ruthless, efficient, cunning, brilliant, a full bad bitch, and I loved every scene she was in. Her obsession with AI and science and a way to gain immortality. The usage of ancient Egyptian art and culture surrounding the dead and royalty. And that final monologue about her twisted view on consumerism, just icing on the cake. And to top it all off, she's even the COO of a pharma company. I just I need this in Cale.
Zaldrīzes Buzdari Iksos Daor
From the myths; Scylla and Charybdis.
For an even more off beat choice; Judge Doom from 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'. WW fighting an unkillable toon should be fun to watch.

His point about the nature of the military industrial complex. It's a recurring theme in Metal Gear. People spend absurd amounts of money on war machines that are absurdly over-the-top powerful... and expensive. But it's more due to profiteering to sell war as a product than genuine need for them. Armstrong's not the only character who talks about it openly. I think his plan was insane, but warmongering so you can get paid to build more weapons... is also insane... and not even all that rare in Metal Gear.
Dr. Goldfoot and The Bikini Machine (or the Girl Bombs if you prefer)
Dr. Goldfoot is a criminal mastermind that uses robot women to commit crimes. In a sequel, he plants bombs in his robot girls and starts using them for political gain.
This very much sounds like some old school Wonder Woman adventure and you can never have too much Vincent Price.
Maybe later we can have him team up with Batman's old foe Egghead.

M. Bison from Street Fighter
Overlord of the criminal empire, Shadoloo, and megalomaniac bent on world domination. He uses Psycho Power, which is purely negative energy fueled by evil thoughts and desires. He's obsessed with finding the perfect warrior so he can transfer his consciousness into them (and it is canon that he doesn't care if the vessel is male or female). Aside from his own minions, he routinely kidnaps and brainwashes capable fighters to be his warriors, notably the Shadoloo Dolls--young women he uses as his personal bodyguards and hit squad. Seems like the type of guy Wonder Woman would absolutely oppose, and he would no doubt seek to bend her (and likely other Amazons) to his will if not see her as a worthy vessel to possess.
DC vs. Vampires is capital-T Trash but kind of thought Diana fighting against Dracula could be interesting, especially thematically with the sexual liberation represented by WW vs. regression represented by Dracula in the original Stroker book. Plus it'd be kind of interesting given the Christian mythos associated with Dracula/vampires going up against someone rooted in Classical paganism.

Yeah, something lost or glossed over in most adaptations is that, in the original Bram Stoker novel, Dracula is very misogynistic.
When he's confronted by Van Helsing, Harker and the others, though he considers them mere mortals, he regards them as valid adversaries. But when he learns Mina played a part in hunting him down, he gets offended that a woman dared oppose him.
The rapist metaphor is not subtle. Even aside from luring women out, hypnotizing them, and preying on them, when he attacks Mina, he makes a point of saying he's defiling her precisely because she's a woman.
Vampires in general would make an interesting enemies given Diana powers and weapons are divine in nature...which is part of what makes stuff like DC vs. Vampires and The Tenth Circle so frustrating. But that's another topic.
Yeah, why I was thinking book Dracula over the interpretations where vampires are the symbols of sexual liberation (or just horny artists, DC vs. Vampires).
I kind of envision a scene of Diana's lasso, or the crossed arm pose, having the same effect on Dracula as a crucifix would given they'd have the same religious importance to Diana as the the cross would to a Christian.
