With the trade paperbacks 50th birthday that I hope marvel does something with this year here is a neat history of marvel trades including a rare fantastic four comic strip like black and white comic pre trade from the 60s!

I read Silver Surfer Judgment Day and X-Men God LOves Man Kills, but I didn't and to this day still don't own them.
The first one I owned, was this baby here.
And while it is a collection, which may ruffle some people's feathers, it's a collections of original oversized comics, a Trade of Graphic Novels if you will. The thing was thick.
Some early 80s digest size trades sold in school book orders long before dogman!
They were book sized comics. Think the heathcliff books of the 80s size.

Odd choice for a kids comic as doesn't it end with cap beheading the vampire!

Neat marvel was doing book order / book fair trades way back in the early 80s.
