Let's look at the Saint for a moment. Saint seems to operate at peak human levels when it comes to drawing and shooting and generic "action hero" levels when it comes to strength.
His guns are supposed to never miss and kill anything they hit, supposedly. However we see a few instances where that's not true. While the Saint's guns killed God in the Preacher Universe, "God" there really lacked any kind of feats and it was shown that he wasn't even all powerful off his throne. Saint also survived a nuke.
I'm willing to say Thanos is a bit faster than the peak human levels SOK opperates at, and with the power gem, he can put out more damage than a nuke.
Thanos wins.
Calling Thanos faster than peak human seems pretty generous. He was quicker than Hulk in a boxing match but also struggled to land hits on Steve Rodgers, and movie Cap doesn't seem as fast as his comic book version.
That said, Thanos should just need to snap his fingers or make a fist, which should.be quicker than drawing/aim/shoot if the two had equal speed..... Wait, is that true? The big feats involved multiple gems. Power gem makes big booms but can it be aimed and focused as efficiently without the others?
