Barbara Ann Minerva is one of my favorite characters. Her genuine villainy is so thrilling and exciting. No offence, but I always saw Priscilla Rich as a joke of being a threat to Wonder Woman when she is just some crazy lady in a costume. It wasn't until Justice where she is portrayed to be a worthy villain.



One of my favorite WW issues ever. The birth of one of the greatest villainesses in the DC Universe.

That is a phenomenal start! Loved those pics. Less furry, yet still more predatory. I'm guessing that is Barbara (or Priscilla?) pre-Cheetah. I was leaning toward getting this mini anyway (for Superverse reasons), but now AMERICAN ALIEN just jumped a couple notches in terms of anticipation.

Moving on,I think the best way to go with Cheetah is three-fold (in fact, I'm making this part of the C.A.T.C.A.V.E.'s new goals).

The Ninth Goal of the CATCAVE is: The Cheetah must have more emphasis placed on her unmatched cunning, and less emphasis on her overall bestial-ness.

The Tenth Goal of the CATCAVE is: The Cheetah must have a uniquely personal connection to Wonder Woman. One that is similar (yet unique) to the antagonistic bonds between Joker and Batman, and between Luthor and Superman.

The Eleventh Goal of the CATCAVE is: The Cheetah must have one thing that she does better than anyone else, her one niche where no other villain can top her, and that thing (IMHO) is ... cheating. No one should be a better or equal cheater than the Cheetah herself. If there is any way to break the rules and not get caught, the Cheetah will find it and use it.

While I'm glad that the Cheetah is in the series, that's the WORST CHEETAH COSTUME EVER. Pink & black? She's not the Harlequin(Duela Dent).

Last I read they were still announcing characters so perhaps she'll make an appearance ... WW didn't even appear in the video they released (outside of the opening credits)

Her bio on the website also seems to indicate that she's the queen of the school's standard issue group of Mean Girls, which I find deeply amusing for some reason.

Having heard Landis' MoS2 pitch, I'd say Cheetah will probably job, like maybe she along with 9 other villains will give Superman a decent run for his money, or he'll pit her against a 12 year old Superman, something like that, so don't count your chickens before they hatch
