I love how Doom has his own cerebro that completely covers his face with a V for Victor .

Honestly none of the designs really "wow" me, they all feel like generic Mutants that'll probably not appear again after this arc is over. I do like how over time some of them start to differentiate themselves rather than just look like Doom goons.

Nice. I like the looks of these new adversaries for the X-men. Now let's see Joshua Cassara draw the hell out of this battle!

I will say, though, that I really wish he (or some artist) had taken a stab at a new variation of Logan's yellow and blue costume since they're putting him back in it. The underoos on the outside of the pants look is just so dated IMO. Update it somehow. The Astonishing version was a good take, but maybe even tweak that a little more and have some fun with it. Make it more like Hugh Jackman's movie version that he'll be wearing in Deadpool 3 or something...

I think Volta and Nerium are designs that could work in a staying power kinda way. There are aspects that are too generic in both, but also very standout as well. Nerium needs a better outfit and Volta a better head/hairstyle

The Cassarra designs are amazing! Not going to lie, the little flashbacks with Charles, Erik and Moira got me in my feelings a little. Why couldn’t it have worked out! Don’t they know the mutants always win!

Hopefully these characters are not just here for one issue. When I saw the cover I was not impressed but now I actually think I might have liked this idea to have been the main arc in this FoX stint.
