Henshaw just will not stay down.

Jurgens' writing is still kind of stiff but I'm eager to read the other stories.

Man-oh-man, these titles confuse me. When I opened this topic I was hoping to see a facsimile edition of this--

My heart sank when I realized that was not to be.

I see that there's nothing from Roger Stern , if I remember right he was a big part of the Death of Superman as well .
I'm on the fence about getting this .
Guess I'll decide when I actually see the book at my LCS .

Lol I don't understand why he wrote like that. It feels like a B movie set in a strange continuity. With sweet art but still, I hope both of his stories aren't like that.

The other three should be cool, especially the Ordway one

Not understanding how you thought the thread title is confusing....it says "The Return of Superman 30th Anniversary Special #1 Preview". Pretty straight to the point IMO.

I might check out the Karl Kesel story, just for a good Superboy story.

Gets a little better after the campy preview, but not enough.

I did actually like the Kesel Grummett part most, but it was a pretty obvious cash grab in a way I feared upon seeing they weren't vignettes. as Captain America and Jean Grey have shown, Weezy and Ordway can do a lot better even now if they're writing original stories.

Was a good read, a companion book to "Reign of the Supermen" a nice perspective from Perry's point of view.

We never get anything like this for Knightfall.
