Great issue (episode?)! Can't wait for the next! We finally get some Firstar in Orchis action, what they are thinking and what she is thinking.

A lot of the issue was recapping the Gala and how Firestar got to where she is now.

Judas wanting to utilize her in a public way is gonna suck for her and her relationships for sure. In terms of timeline, she's already encountered Kate but it's not clear if she's broken Cain out yet (she's not injured.)

Judas Traveller first appeared in in Spider-man comics back in the 90's. He was a very mysterious and godlike character. Alluded to be Judas from the Bible even. He had reality bending powers and psionic then. A later story retconned it so it was one of his followers who used technology to simulate his powers. Judas Himself was declared a mutant and insane, more or less. He was given some illusion powers to cover up the plotholes this retcon created.

This Judas Traveller can be treated as blank slate more or less. He saw himself as a study of the human mind and I think it was revealed that before his psychotic break he worked as renowned psychatrist.

I liked him back then. But I was still a preteen and Bagley drew him. So go figure.

He was a departure in style. Quasi religious being, shrouded in mystery with godlike powers. He seems more in place in a …. Horror or thriller comic. Some epic story spanning centuries perhaps.

Great issue. I like the way this title is being used to support the main books and give attention to characters that aren’t getting a heavy focus elsewhere. I love Justice so can’t wait to see him and Firestar reunite next issue! I hope they both get to play a part in the post-Krakoan era.
