Top 10 comics that should be a movie or TV series

I think the old Shadowline's "Doctor Zero" would be a great adult-oriented streaming series.(the idea of a sociopathic, opportunistic, mass-murdering superperson who knows how to manipulate his public image was ahead of its time) It would need more than 8 eps a season though as that concept needs a slow burn. (I'd also throw in "St George" as a developing background antagonist, which is why it would need at least 12 episodes per season)

Greg Rucka's Whiteout never got its fair shot at a film or TV adaptation. I bet there's plenty of folks out there who know the Kate Beckinsale-led trainwreck and not the excellent comic it was based on. The original mini and its sequel are both riveting and energetic mysteries with a cinematic feel. I also really love Antarctica setting. It would do well with a True Detective style treatment.

Eh, they've toned the cheesecake of it down.

Wouldn't be a big deal as long as it was easy to tell it was her.

Top hat, back coat, boots, white shirt, white magicians gloves, rose on the lapel, etc.

They let Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn keep their canon costumes.. why not Zatanna? I hope we've gotten beyond "putting women in a burqa" = "feminism."

Love & Rockets would be awesome, it would be a fun challenge to integrate the Locas and Palomar storylines well enough for a TV series.

Fishnets are not a deal breaker for me BUT they are in fashion right now.

But that's a good work around.

Having an actress that is strong and can handle the trolls would be good, too.

For me the fishnets are necessary for it to be Zatanna. But I would miss the top hat and tuxedo shirt and tails. She is supposed to look like a stage magician, so whatever that looks like today should be ok. As long as there is a top hat!
