Politics aside it is clear the company still wants and does use him and/or the legacy usage of him.
The recent Aaron maxi-series.
Frank as Cosmic Ghost Rider mini.
Jake Gallows in Savage Avengers and that 2099 event.
This new Punisher #1 with the Garrison character.

It has taken years, decades really, to get Incredible Hulk Omni vol. 2 and Invincible Iron Man vol. 3 Omnis solicited. Daredevil vol.2 Omni also I suppose.
We will one day get the 80s Punisher solo series and War Journal in Omni and/or Epic formats. It is just clearly going to require more patience and time.

Absolutely. I remember reading the first 50 issues of the original Punisher run, then deciding to check out the first 10-20 issues of War Journal. I was blown away that Punisher could get even better!
