If they pull it off it could be amazing, but man is it such a tough act with so many expectations.
Not only who you cast, but what game's plot do you go with? Or do you take snippets of multiple story elements and try to create something original that more or less falls into the whole dungeon adventure to save Hyrule and the Triforce idea.

Pretty unlikely; Link is clearly meant to be saying actual **** that the game just doesn't render so audiences can imagine them as Link speaking or whatever. I believe most of the manga adaptations of the games in Japan have all had Link saying stuff in speech bubbles.
