Wow, it's been a long time since I last won. Thanks everyone. I do have an idea for the next one but I hope you don't mind waiting until I get home from work tonight. It will be easier for me to post it then.

Congratulations, Tami!
And thanks for the vote, seismic-2

Way to go Tami!
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Yay, Tami!

Congrats Tami and thanks for the vote Captcleghorn.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
Great Job Tami

Congratulations to Tami for a marvelously fantastic cover where we see another Stan Lee alliteration: Casting Couch.
Peak of the Week time and what the captain has learned in this week's contest. Sometimes people will lament an absence of votes for their entry. This week, I am sorry that the cover I voted for, LordMikel's with a truly heartbreaking cover of Awesome Andy, didn't get more votes. I mean it's funny to see Silver Age Bruce and Clark with holes in their boots and their toes sticking out. The cover, IMHO, may have been too intense in comparison, but damn. That feeling is the bottom. Insert PSA for talking to someone here.
Thanks go to CaptainEurope and Kirby101 for their votes.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
Congrats Tami. I missed the vote (I went to the ER on Saturday for an intestinal blockage and wound up being admitted for a week, just got home last night). I'll check out the new contest when I get a chance.
