I’m more excited about this movie the more I hear about it. Heavily influenced by The Real Ghostbusters, hyping a lot of weird ghosts and a surprisingly huge scale. I’m down! Was not expecting the Wes Anderson vibe. Well, Bill Murray is in it so I guess it makes sense

Afterlife used the bug eye ghost from the action figure line. I wonder if there will be some cameos from ghost featured in the cartoon. The Boogeyman maybe? He was pretty creepy.

According to recent interview there may be a running gag spoilers:

where Trevor keeps trying to catch Slimer and failing. One of many traps includes Cheetos, the Spud's favorite snack when living in the firehouse alone. Their "friendship* ends up being something that undoes the main villain's handywork.

And with the Empire article showing a full duty roster of 30+ Ghostbusters and cadets ... Might be getting a larger "bust" at the end.

My sense on a March release date is that meteorologically that is the month where Spring begins. So the irony is the movie is Frozen (winter) Empire.
However, maybe they just feel good about this slot for other reasons that aren't my personal explanation.

Fiscal quarter earnings would be my guess...but it's incredibly dumb and short sighted. The Summer season is pretty weak and the Winter season was weak.

More indication that the video game isn’t cannon, since you actually capture the Gray Lady in the game.

I really wish the game “counted” because not only is it the last project the original actors were all a part of but they had some cool additions/expansions to the universe. Like how they reveal the Gray Lady’s connection to Shandor.

Unless she escapes with the other ghosts when the firehouse is attacked and goes back to haunt the library.
