Yes, the angst!!!!! Thank god for Louise Simonson!!!!! This is solo series is Jean Grey at her best. I cannot wait for the end.

I'm too excited for this. Also, this is an interesting layout:
The woman she is and has always been (Jean Grey) positioned at the heart and center of Phoenix, flanked by the woman she once was (Marvel Girl) and the woman she once became (Madelyne Pryor animated by a rejected fragment of her soul).

The first page immediately triggers a nitpick I have when artists make a common mistake with Jean's Phoenix costume, lol. The black around the Phoenix emblem only goes with the green costume. The red costume has a larger emblem without the black around it.
