I would like to see Phoenix throw down with Thanos and Ultron for real. This made me wonder why the Avengers never tapped Magneto or Polaris when Ultron shows up. Those two could one shot him.

This is an alternate reality Jean Grey/Phoenix who has plucked our O5, giving them their memories back, and then sending them out to save her reality. There are very strong parallels to the first what if story from Jean Grey #1, but this is not tied in directly to 616 yet.

For real. It ruins it for me. I won't buy and support his subpar tracing/reusing.

Someday hope to see a series focusing on the seven-member team from the classic Thomas/Adams run. Feel like we've seen the original 5 revisted enough already!

I understand the annoyance with Land's tracing and reusing images (even reusing images from Phoenix Endsong here)...

But I'll still be buying it since I love the original X-Men, Teen Jean, and Phoenix-Jean.

I expect it to be a fun one-shot.

Every now and then he knocks it out of the ballpark (when there's less obvious porn tracing, lol). But bless his heart. Enough time's passed that I'm oddly/surprisingly nostalgic.
