Default Superman: the Golden Age Omnibus, Volume 8

Does anyone know if a volume 8 is in the works? And if not, why not?

While this isn't exactly an answer, there is another Golden Age Wonder Woman omnibus coming out in July. That makes me think it's likely they will do another Superman GA omnibus as well.

I never bought those Omnibuses, because I already bought all the Archives. I expect that doing the Omnibuses was more cost effective because the restoration work had been done for the Archives, already. For the last Omnibus, there might have been some issues that the Archives never got to, but those would have been few and not prohibitively expensive to do. If the Omnibuses are now beyond any of the issues restored for Archives or other collections, then that might be a major obstacle. In a sense, I subsidized those Omnibuses by paying for the more expensive Archives. You're welcome.

The omnibus editions are very far beyond where any archive program ended, as we now have all three Superman titles collected up to Action Comics #125-143, Superman #55-65, and World’s Finest Comics #37-47.

Aren't the Silver Age Omnibuses starting with 1958?

Yeah so I suppose it could be a case where they create a proper "atomic age" loke the newspaper collections have, if they don't continue with the GA label
