The vampires from "Near Dark" are fed a big meal, then teleported into the roles of the main soldiers from "Aliens". The vampires are informed by the plot gods that if they survive and protect Ripley and Newt, they will be teleported back to their own earth and time.

I don't remember the Near Dark vamps being that impressive

They display complete indifference to guns. Severen is rammed by an 18 wheeler, sustains only superficial damage which he literally laughs at, and starts ripping chunks out of the engine. They only die to sunlight or massive explosions.
