I'll be there with wine and a charcuterie board. Bring on the elephant calvary!

At the end of the day though it's a piece of fiction so the actual ancestry hardly matters as long as the story is entertaining.
It's fiction? I thought it was supposed to be a historical movie

There is enough truth to hit without opening themselves to criticism but they're going to get it any way.

^^^Yeah I’m not even sure why it was brought up (for Diesel) in the first place.

I love Braveheart as a movie, but if someone watched Braveheart and then took a test on William Wallace and the 1st War of Scottish Independence they'd fail that test miserably.

There's a YouTube channel called History Buffs great channel he compares "Historical" films to real history and the films rarely get it right. You can't watch historical films like Documentaries.

LOL even Mel’s woad face paint was off by a few centuries. If he really wants to mix it up with the English as badly as he seems he should get down to Newcastle town centre at kicking out time and call someone’s pint a poof.

Missed meta moment for Denzel to play Hamilcar and Denzel's son, John, to play Hannibal.
