Pretty sure they are adapting the Tom King miniseries.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Not sure there is much of a market for it in space.

Makes sense to go with the version that's been around for more than a half century. Some of the biggest problems with DCEU was casting that didn't fit the classic version of the characters -- especially with Lex Luthor and Barry Allen.

Well there are two versions of kendra hawkgirl. The original one pre flash-point kendra is a brown latino, the one that will be in the dcu, while the current canon one and earth 2 is a black latina.
That type was shown in the cw arrowverse.
There is talk about a korean huntress and in the canon post flashpoint comics she is black and of course other verisons are white so race wise everything will not line up with the current canon comics.

She's not black; she's a dark-skinned Sicilian. This was even clarified by either King or Seely (I don't recall which).

Yes, but she's not. And is not drawn to look like one either. She looks like a dark-skinned Sicilian.

Probably from the same people who were making this mistake while Grayson was being published.

So if she not black or white then brown.
Anyway the dceu may have a korean huntress instead of a brown race one that is now canon in comics.

Is everyone just assuming this because the director is Korean?
