    Anya Corazón is played by Isabela Merced (the girl in the left hand side of the pic); besides her are Dakota Johnson as Madame Web, Sweeney as Julia Carpenter [second Spider-Woman ever in Marvel, after Jessica Drew], and Celeste O'Connor as Martha 'Mattie' Franklin [the third woman to take the Spider-Woman name in Marvel comics].

    That's cool. I never expected to see Anya in a movie.
    I hope they do the characters justice. The trailer looks like they're taking a lot of liberties with Julia and Cassandra, but I hope at least the essential traits of their characters remain.

    Looks like a mid-2000s superhero movie. I’m getting Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and Elektra movie vibes. That’s not inherently a bad thing, but it’s a weird nostalgic feeling.

    All the coverage until now was making me believe Dakota was playing Julia Carpenter Madam Web but it seems she’s playing an aged down Cassandra Web and Julia Carpenter will be Spider-Woman? I saw someone say they think Venom will see Julia’s logo and copy it since this is the Sonyverse, would be a funny full circle moment since the symbiote suit borrowed Julia’s logo in the first place

    I mean, the actresses are doing their best but I'm not sure how much interest there will be in a movie about four women being hunted down by an evil version of Spider-Man that's also Ezekiel because...why not?

    Also wanna bet the costume stuff is just visions and we probably won't be seeing much of them?
