I get the complaints, but honestly, can we just take a minute to be happy that we're getting multiple hero origins and their team up in one movie. That's pretty uncommon in superhero movies and I think we should acknowledge that. I'll give it a shot

I hope they do the characters justice.

They failed to do justice to her the moment they decided to turn her into a sidekick and shoving her origin with the rest.

That screams mess. Trying to cramp as much as they can in one movie is one of the reasons the Amazing Spider-Man movies failed.

Between this and Across the spider-verse, at least Anya fans are getting something. The worst thing about this tho is that when it flops we're probably not gonna see Anya again on the big screen for a very long time.

Looking forward for this movie since the leaks and behind the scenes leaked, but felt the trailer told too much of plot lines, unless you know the history of all the characters shown. I do realize most comic fans would go anyway, what is more important are the normal masses, why Marvel was successful in the beginning. Sony should give up the share universe and stick tell good stories. They can figure out how to crossover their spider-people on a later date.

I can see some of the common troubles that the Sonyverse movies have in this trailer, but honestly this trailer looks much better than the Kraven one (at least none of them were bitten by a radioactive lion)

The villain gives me serious CW vibes, like Zoom or Godspeed or any of those other corny ones in The Flash.
I will say, I’m shocked that the ladies have costumes at all, wasn’t expecting that much effort from Sony, but I’m going to guess that they’ll only wear them in the final battle and the other 95% of the film will be them running around in normal clothes
