Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew!

McFarlane's Captain Carrot action figure coming out makes me nostalgic for the Zoo Crew. I dont mind the upgrade in physique and think at the least for a one off it would be cool to see the rest of the group like that but I do miss the fun of the original series. It was well written, fun enough for younger readers and interesting for older ones as well and had beautiful art by the amazing Scott Shaw! It introduced us to the JLA...the Justa Lotta Animals. We had a brief war between Oz and Wonderland with some amazing art by Carol Lay.
Captain Carrot and the Final Ark was good but missed a lot of the fun of the original series and ended on such a sad note. I'm not even sure if the rest of the Zoo Crew is still around since Cap is part of Justice League Incarnate.

You are a person of culture! I definitely miss the old Zoo Crew, and enjoyed the original series and the Oz/Wonderland War. The Final Ark was a well-intentioned miss. I would definitely be down for another mini.

It would be cool to see the other Zoo Crew characters revamped in the same way the current version of Captain Carrot was done.

It was done by Keith Giffen so it was rather fun. I’m guessing Didio wanted him to try and bring a Rocket Raccoon (also a Giffen creation) type character to the DCU.
