My choice would be Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here but all four albums are brilliant

Mmm. For me it's Control / Rhythm Nation. Those two combined for about 10 singles. She was a single's machine after as well but Jimmy and Terry was in they groove with those two.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

The Beatles did 4 all-time great albums in quick succession with Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club and the White Album.

Revolver and Sgt. Pepper are in my top ten, so it's really hard for any group to beat that.

Bob Dylan's peak was probably Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde on Blonde.

Bruce Springsteen followed Nebraska with the very different but excellent (and much more financially successful) Born in the USA. The whole stretch of early albums until Born in the USA is exceptional.

U2- The Joshua Tree/Achtung Baby (not counting Desire because it wasn't a studio album).

Michael Jackson- Off the Wall/Thriller (this is the correct answer by the way).

Eminem- The Marshall Mathers LP/The Eminem Show (this is the second correct answer, the former is packed with some of the most controversial stuff ever recorded).

    Stone Temple Pilots- Core/Purple

Tupac Shakur- Me Against the World/All Eyez on Me/The Don Killuminati (the last one came out posthumously)

Celine Dion- Falling into you/Lets talk about Love (I was a romantic back in the day)

Mariah Carey- Music Box/Daydream (a bit of a cheat but I'm not counting a Christmas album,LOL)

    Linkin Park- Hybrid Theory/Meteora

Adele- 19/21/25 (i know it should only be 2 albums but Adele came in with a 3 hit combo).

Honorable mention- Guns N Roses- Use Your Illusion 1 and 2, but they were released simultaneously.

    Two more additions from me:

    Red (1962-1966) and Blue (1967-1970)
While these were compilations released three years after the band’s historic breakup, these albums (recently remastered and rereleased along with extra tracks and the last ever Beatles song, “Now & Then”) hold a special place in my heart as they were my introduction, my gateway drug to Beatlemania when I discovered the band in 1976. And I’ve been a big fan ever since.

    Mr Bungle- Disco Volante/ California
System of a Down- SOAD/Toxcity (even through I'd argue all 5 albums are great)
    Elliott Smith- Either/Or/ XO
