Gail Simone is a new x-writer?!

Gail is a big fan of Rogue and Storm. I'm ready for a writer who let's the X-women shine together again.

Curious if there's other past stuff she's written about the X-Men that you know of. Would love to know which characters and kinds of stories she likes.

The only thing I've ever read from her was New 52 Batgirl, which I wasn't wild about. But I've heard good things about her other work, so I'll go into this with an optimistic outlook.

The only X-work she's done as far as I know has been X-Force adjacent solos- Deadpool, Agent X, and Domino.

I meant moreso things she's written online about the X-Men, not directly writing X-men. Like where she's said she loves Storm & Rogue.

These are my exact thoughts. I tuned out of Domino completely when they gave her that white streak. I also tire of characters like her getting "My powers aren't working" stories.

Domino already has a great unique visual and I don't think the streak enhances it. Not to mention its already a signature of other characters!

I’m optimistic. I’ve been saying I wanted a woman to write the flagship to have a fresher take on the team, so Simone is promising, even if her best work isn’t so recent.
David Marquez is a perfect choice for a flagship X-team. He was wasted on Bendis.

simone would be cool on x-men but she might be the writer of the new deadpool/wolverie "team up " book launching later this year ...................also with camp getting a slot in one of the books gotta figure hes got avery high profile marvel gig coming up as well

Overall, not a fan of her work and no thank you.

I can name a few things I liked that she's done (Birds of Prey and most of the Secret Six) but the rest I really can't speak favorable of.
