I don't have a problem with Batman being around because:


1.) He's interacting with his daughter Helena.

2.) The JSA is in Gotham.

3.) They're fighting Solomon Grundy who Batman has fought solo.

I get that. I guess it wouldn't stand out as much if not for the Bat-heavy early issues.

If this leads to Grundy joining the JSA I’d be very happy. He obviously joins in the future according to this story. I love the idea of the team having its own “hulk”.

Don't they already have Atom-Smasher and Hourman strength-wise?

‘Johns can’t write Batman’ has been a recurring complaint over the years that it’s hardly surprising that he’s indulging himself on his last run.

One thing that’s amusing about Salem is in using Morrison’s limbotown origin of Klarion for her, considering how YJ’s Klarion has completely overwritten him elsewhere

Hulk's not really a brainless moron. Thats awfully reductive of him.

Savage Hulk is more childlike in temperament but he's not brainless.
