Oh, to answer the original question of the thread; Steph deserves better. She deserves someone that won't suddenly ghost her with no explanation and treat her as an afterthought. Before this whole Bernard thing, the two of them being together was about the one thing his last writer did right while at DC. But now, well, he's toxic (in a relationship way).

He's even being kind of toxic as a friend.

Like he introduced her to Bernard without asking her first (while she is still getting over him not that he asked),

only interacts with her either for work (where it's a one off comment in a group setting or when teaming up being dry and strictly professional) or with Bernard (pretty dickish ngl as again she's still getting over him)

is passive aggressive to her in his thoughts via thinking she'd hate his boat for some reason, saying he was 'settling' before Bernard, and the way he talked about her in dc pride 2023 to connor of her being a "reminder of how he couldn't examine himself on purpose and was invested in their relationship to do that" and doesn't mention how he hurt her with her ghosting and is blaming her for something she has no control over.

Why would Tim need to ask Stephanie if she wants to meet his new boyfriend? If they separated on good terms as stated in Fitzmartin's fanfiction then her meeting Bernard would've been inevitable.

They didn't seperate on good terms. He dumped her without a reason, then was an ******* and then ghosted her and apologized after meeting her by accident with her life in danger. He then introduced her to Bernard after all this without asking her. Plus it's common sense to ask your ex if they want to meet your new partner as while you may be over your ex, your ex may not be over you and Batgirls shows she wasn't over him.

Just because she has a right to be bitter about something doesn't mean she has to be. There's a thing called "being the bigger person." Her going off on Tim, however justified it may be, doesn't exactly reflect positively on her.

She doesn't have to go off on Tim or blow up at him or froth at the mouth, no one is saying that, BUT can express in a healthy manner how he was shitty and let her down and there is nothing wrong with that. She certaintly didn't need to debase herself before him like she did.
