Now if we're grant Freddy his Dream World powers or having the fight take place in dreams, then it goes the other way. Freddy is just far more creative and has shown more reality bending abilities.

depends really on what we go by for lep. in some movies, just putting a clover on a box was enough to keep him contained. in a few others, his powers are connected to his pot of gold.
