How did you get that much wrong? The Rock is black himself.
A lot of black actors got their movies shown in China, and a lot of white movies don't, what point are you trying to make?
Wakanda Forever was shown in China. Why are you making things up?
Bad Boys 3 was shown in China, the first two was too early, China's movie market hasn't really opened yet. Same with ID4, but ID4's video was very popular in China.
Other than old ones, Will Smith got a lot of his movies released in China, like Man in Black3 and Hancock. I am legend was not there due to China banned all American movies in late 2007. Overall he was well received in China.
How can you accuse ppl for racism when you couldn't even the facts clear?

Disney is already trying to do damage control for Snow White. This project is also getting delayed and the Variety Interview with Bailey and Zegler was laughable.
Halle was professional and classy but the other one? A scripted attempt of trying to replicate Halle's Demeanor

OP Question - Yes I think they do. They need to slow down production; quality over quantity. Give more new ideas a chance rather than live-action remakes of existing animated properties. Also, strict NDAs (for lack of a better term) for their major stars/major writers so those stars/writers keep their mouths shut and stay on script while promoting a film or series rather than get embroiled in meaningless public fights with "fans" and "critics".

"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
The reason why the focus is on Disney is because while other studios are certainly dealing with their issues (WB and Paramount being prime examples, although the former definitely scored a hit with Barbie), Disney is top-dog in the market AND they're investing substantially more money into their films and series than any other studio. So, when they fail, they fail BIG. When you have two, $300+ million movies fail in one year in Indiana Jones 5 and the Marvels, that's going to get all the focus.
As I said before, you have to get the budgets under control. That's true for all the studios.
The thing is Disney has other forms of revenue other than movies. WB and Paramount generally dont. Disney makes more off of ESPN than most of these companies make. Warner brothers stock is almost worthless. Its at 9 dollars a share. Thats down from 25 dollars a share just last year. Thats an over 50 percent drop in value despite Barbie. And the other poster has already articulated Paramounts issues. The issues with these movie companies go much deeper than Disney.
Yeah-the 70s and 80s in particular are considered sort of the dark age of Disney, when a lot of their films didn't quite meet the heights of the time Walt was alive, or were box office flops, or at least disappointments. Some of it came from competition from Don Bluth, with American Tail and Land Before Time being pretty big challengers.
Not that they were really *bad* at all-a lot of them are fondly remembered cult classics-Tron, Fox and the Hound, Pete's Dragon, Flight of the Navigator, Something Wicked this way comes....a lot of them were Disney also trying new things before kind of going back to the adapted fairy tale formula.
