This was not a very good issue.

The Blood Scarab’s identity is revealed and it’s… some random guy. Ok.

Jaime is considering killing bad guys now. Wonderful.

He tells Starfire that he’s considering drastic solutions and needs to do this on his own. And her response is basically, “alright, if you end up killing this guy I’ll stand by your side.” What?

The Horizon girl reveals that they can somewhat control technology because …they were on their ship for a long time.

This series is really kind of a frustrating read. I really like Jaime as a character but feel like he's frequently hamstrung by mediocre writers.

Are we supposed to like alien love interest girl? She's insufferable and self-righteous.

I doubt Jaime is going to go the violent route.

This series feels like it's a bit of a mess. Too many new characters we don't know, in a new place that isn't Jaime's home, and it all feels jumbled together.
You know, kinda like the art style!

And I find it pretty hard to believe that NONE of the JLI stuck around the help... why even bring them in?
