The Bone Claw Wolverine era had some really great images.
God! It really did. Peak Adam Kubert for sure. And while they may be weaker, the way he drew those bone claws looked so f@c&ing badass.

I love this comic, it's one of the reasons why Wolverine will always have a place in my heart.
The guy was here a few miles away from my city killing fascists... How could I not love him.
( It was also the first time I saw Gernika shown as a city with buildings instead of a small rural town as in other American fiction ).

Badass Wolverine (and his winged pal Lockheed) at the peak of his coolness by Chris Claremont, Paul Smith & Bob Wiacek from X-Men and Alpha Flight #2 (1985).

This entire event may not have been critically-acclaimed, but I'll always love this image
Uncanny X-Men #338
(I'm a sucker for the combo Madureira+Salvador Larroca)
X-Force (2008) #4
(all Crain, but this page, alongside the scene with Warren naked on top of a pile of corpses, gave me chills)
And this one. Because this is the first issue ever I brought and this image is close to my heart.
Uncanny X-Men #333.

First Warren in Dark X-Men #1, and then Genis-Vell in Captain Marvel #1. Seriously, Marvel?!
Avatar reflecting my mood. I couldn't stand the sunny high-flying Angel one anymore.
Always liked the drama from Fatal Attractions with Xavier mind wiping Magneto.
