And also it depends on the writer also Peter holds back a lot of times. It also depends on how you want to quantify the answer as he has held up a building with pure strength and webbing, but what the parameters of the question?

    Cosmic Spider-man.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Insomniac is the most capable and effective and in the same vain in the 616 I would say Superior is probably the most capable of accomplishing his goal.

Oh, also Ultimate Petey he's literally immortal

I believe it's the 616 Comics version when the author remembers that Peter is one of the strongest street-based heroes, and almost a cosmic-level when needed. Probrably 80's and 90's Spidey, and early 2000's.

    But it's rare nowdays.

Strongest in terms of power or most experienced?

Cosmic Spider-Man is technically the strongest.

If you're referring of experience, it's 616 Spider-Man since he has the most fighting experience. He went through like 1000 stories in the span of 15 years-ish, haha. That's like a villain fight every 3 days.

Out of the adaptations, Spectacular and Peter B are the most experienced. Just like 616 Spider-Man, they fought every villain in the comics and pretty much since high school every week. (Okay, we don't know if Peter B did, but it's implied he has a similar history to 616 Pete).

He's arguably THE most powerful street level character. I think if you go a tier above Spider-Man, it's not street level anymore.
