Ya know I have to say, this makes for a really good setting.

Like really dig the whole Cold War with superhumans vibe with a pretty strong hook of mixing American Imperialism in other countries with all manor of superhuman projects.

Plus while the Wildstorm characters overall didn't get that much focus beyond Battalion, that also does mean everyone's status is in limbo and rife for focus and development.

While it would be pretty retcon heavy and require name changes this would be a better way of including the Wildstorm cast in the DCU than the Wildcats book wound up being.

I have to agree this has been a better run than the WildCATs series and withthe characters more coherent to their original iterations. The few than were used I mean.
Waller among that circle of conspirators from the Widlstorm Universe really feel like she was where she belongs.
And the best part, Majestros was there too.

Interesting tale, but I hope this isn’t the end & someone from Wildstorm becomes an antagonist for Waller to be her Holmes to her Moriarty so to speak.

I didn't know it was an Elseworld, love to see a sequel where John Lynch recruits heroes to take on Amanda Waller (reminds me of my 2nd grade teacher) so not a fan of that evil woman.

Hardcover is out. Great covers by Jorge Fornes. DC really should take more advantage of those characters, Checkmate and Stormwatch.
