Ian Gibson who is probably far better known for his work on UK comics like Judge Dredd, Robo-Hunter and most especially The Ballad of Halo Jones has passed at the age of 77, his battle with cancer at it's end. Gibson also worked briefly for DC with some work on Green Lantern Corps, Mister Miracle and inking Joe Staton on the Millenium event mini series.

RIP. I first saw his art on Judge Dredd and was immediately drawn to his style. It was great seeing him on Green Lantern.
