1. Vendetti - the idea that Carter reincarnates across time AND space is so simply elegant in consolidating Carter's past while opening the door for many many more interpretations of him. I just love it.
2. Johns/Robinson - brought the character back to his roots and reset the classic elements. I look at this as John's proto-Rebirth that he would eventually do with Green Lantern, Flash and Aquaman.
