Agreed. I liked Red, but S.W.O.R.D. was even better. I also thought that Red would continue to showcase S.W.O.R.D.’s cast, but then it added tons of new characters like Pink Nightcrawler and Blood Wolverine.

Yeah, as soon as I hit post I remembered CGAR said it was Armor and that makes more sense. Apologies to Armor fans but I just find that character so forgettable.

I don't mind her, but after Skids, Unuscione and Cecelia Reyes, I was kinda, "Woo, force field chicklet. Such originality! Our diverse rainbow of force field chicklets is now complete."

I really want to be interested because I love all the main characters but...this book is pretty much pointless in the grand End of Krakoa Era scheme. Nothing about the premise is piquing.

Foxe did make sure to say that it wouldnt be pointless and that it would be very important to the January stories.

As soon as I saw Dazzler was on the team I knew I was getting the book, but after the interview I am even more excited!
I hope the Pride of the Xmen reference is just a straight up panel of Dazzler saying "Leave this to The Dazzler" or shooting a photon beam while being harassed by plants.

Also Sam looks very hunky like XForce Vol 1 Days and I am here for it!! I love a thick slice of Kentucky beefcake.

It seems this book will connect to the Dominion plot in Rise and possibly X-Men Forever, but considering your general feelings about Gillen's work I understand your point Sibz lol

Also... Yup. Sam was co-leader of the New Mutants (though I think Dani was the better one) and led X-Force. Jubilee has led off and on. Dazzler led one version of the Exiles. Don't know about Prodigy, but wasn't he a leader of one of the New X-Men squads?
