Both this and Spine-Tingling Spider-Man were great. It's been a long time since I've had this much fun reading a Spidey book.
"He's pure power and doesn't even know it. He's the best of us."-Matt Murdock
"I need a reason to take the mask off."-Peter Parker
"My heart half-breaks at how easy it is to lie to him. It breaks all the way when he believes me without question." Felicia Hardy
Pretty good issue. It actually feels like a Spider-Man issue.
That being said, I do hope that the return of Superior Spider-Man isn't just Peter wearing the Superior Suit. Because that would be absolutely shitty.
I got a feeling it's going to be much more than that tho. Especially with all the hints that have been dropping.
Well he flat out states that he has to become Spider-Man again in lead up to the series. But the biggest one is him blurting out that he's pissed off that Norman had reformed but he "Didn't get to"
Also back in Superior 4, they alluded that he actually misses being Spider-Man but his ego gets in the way as usual.
So I'm still holding out hope.
Hmm, tricky one, because your hope, seems to suggest that Pete won't be very superior, a "loser" again, and Ock steps in, so we get yet another Spider...?
So... The return of the "Superior Spider-Man" is just Peter impersonating Otto impersonating him. (Try say that 10 times fast).
Well, all I hope is that Supernova will finally understand the "Spider-Man" who did this to her was NOT the real Spider-Man.
I doubt it'll be as simple as Peter just acting as Superior... something will have to happen, since it's an ongoing, and I doubt he continues acting that way.
