In one of Gambits earliest appearances, he had a high-end bullet-timing feat.

So I think Nightwing gets creamed, unless the feat is not valid because, I dunno, writers have since forgotten he can do this?

This stuff has happened a LOT at Marvel.

Some characters abilities just get tossed away for no real reason.

I know, right?! It's quite annoying, to say the least...

I look at that, and Forge is shooting some kind of energy gun, not a firearm.

And outside of that feat. Gambit doesn’t have a whole lot of the same. As with the last time Gambit’s bullet time it came up, it really doesn’t do a lot for me.

Gambit has been repeatedly shown and mentioned as having heightened natural speed and agility, but writers over the years seem to disagree on whether that means he's peak human territory or blatantly superhuman.

Also in early days he seemed to have a slight mesmeric ability where people would trust him and believe him even if they shouldn't.

Assuming Remy and Dick are more or less equal in speed and agility, Nightwing tends to carry more toys, but Gambit's make bigger booms.

Alan2099 - unsurprisingly - nails it for me. This is a close one.

Completely understandable. Let's not forget Gambit being able to do "wonky" stuff to machinery & make the craziest things appear outta nowhere

I hope that we are dismissing the 52-pickup feat against Gladiator as an outlier.

I think we can safely agree that Gambit is an irrelevance to Gladiator in every possible aspect save being on first name terms with multiple Phoenix hosts.
