    Default Sony has the exclusive license of X-Men games until December 31st, 2035

    From one of the slides in the Insomniac leaks.

    The characters can still appear and be playable in multi-family Marvel games like Avengers or Ultimate Alliance. Marvel still retains rights to X-Men children's games and certain X-Men games from the 90s.

    Sounds like there is a commitment to releasing three X-Men games (including Wolverine) during that period.

    I enjoyed seeing that and all the Wolverine leaks (beware of MAJOR SPOILERS for the upcoming game!)

    I've been waiting for a new full X-Men game since X-Men Legends 2 - make it happen, Sony!

    Oh never mind, I just saw in Insomniac's leaked timeline that they're planning an X-Men game for freaking 2030...

    Yeah this is too surprising to say the least. Insomniac games are usually single player games.

    I bought a PS5 just to play Spider-Man so sounds like I'll have to buy a PS6 or 7 in 2030 to play X-Men.

    Happy for finally AAA X-Men game but 2030, really? I hope Gambit is on the team and I will live long enough to see it.

    So Wolverine 2026, X-Men 2030 and Wolverine sequel 2034 as only X games till 2035? Should I really be excited or sad that next 12 years we will get only 3 X games?
    It kills my dreams for Gambit in Nola game

    Wow! Mixed feelings about this. Hapoy some X-Men characters will be in the Wolverine game, happy there will officially be an X-Men game but so sad all of these will take forever to come.

    I hope Marvel releases another Ultimate Alliance with some X-Men in it at least. Give us at least Storm, Magneto, Jean, Betsy, Iceman, Gambit, Rogue and Cyclops. Those were always so much fun to play.
