DJ appeared several times in Way of X and Specter appeared in the last issue of Bishop's War College and then in Marvel's Voices. And both actually used powers for the first time in all of their appearances.

Boost was mentioned in SWORD as a posibble replacement for Fabian Cortez's role in the Six, so he is likely repowered.

Hybrid appeared and used powers in Avengers Academy, but IIRC he died there.

Wicked appeared and used powers in Marauders.

Shen Xorn is also repowered, both he and his brother also appeared in Way of X and other Spurrier's series. And IIRC Shen already had powers before Krakoa.

Updated. I removed Radius too. He appeared briefly in Unlimited.

Not sure about Allan Rennie, Murmur…. Someone who looked like him appeared (I forget which book) but the character was never named.

Wasn't Strobe with the MLF on Krakoa?

I can't believe we still haven't seen Scanner. Not even a cameo is crazy for how important she seemed in the 90s.

Reaper is repowered, as we saw in Dark X-Men and somewhere else.

We saw Shatter with the other Morlocks, also in Dark X-Men

It's my fanon that during the Academy X years, Bishop had a 'squad,' and Gloom and Tantra were, by his request, both on it.

And he made their lives hell for the way they treated him and Sage during the Extreme era.

It was in a datapage of Cable #1 he was on the Quarry list of fights. So I assume he went through the crucible.

That's creepier than Melody going through it. He's way to young....

It's strange that Radius, Tattoo, and Redneck haven't been seen, although I prefer their New Warrior aliases. If/When they return, they should use that NW tech like Angel Salvadore does.

Isn't it safe to assume they're repowered now? Wasn't it mainly the Genosha mutants they never got around to resurrecting? Who were dead before M-Day?

Yeah, the vibe I got from the Krakoa era is that unless specifically stated otherwise we can assume these characters were repowered off panel.

I don't get that vibe... especially since Orchis happened. We saw many mutants repowered (ex. Hell's Belles) but none from this remaining list. Unless they're actually seen, I would consider them still depowered. Some of them may not even want to be repowered.

And that's a missed opportunity for me. A story about A) a depowered mutant who doesn't want to be repowered and / or B) a story about a resurrected mutant who didn't *want* to come back.

I feel like that story was *right there,* with Josh 'Jay' Guthrie/Icarus. He cut his own wings off, and violently freaked at the idea of Elixir healing him to grow them back. Then he dies, murdered after betraying his class to some bus-splodin' psychos.

Then he's back, in the crowd, at Melody Guthrie's Crucible, watching his little sister get herself murdered for a chance to be resurrected with her powers back.

Did he have a single feeling on these matters? His rebirth? His re-empowerment? His sister basically committing suicide for a chance to get back what he mutilated himself and got killed a dozen of his classmates to get away from? Do any of the former friends and classmates who blew up on that bus resent him even a little bit for his betrayal getting them blown to bits? (For that matter are they pissy with Emma for sending them away from the protection of the school, despite the targets on their heads?)

Don't know. And apparently the writers didn't care.

It's a powerful story, and cuts to the very heart of Krakoa's resurrection process and the Crucible and the thorny issue of mutant identity and *choice.* People in much of the world have slowly become able to choose nationality or religion, despite not always being afforded those choices. We are slowly, ever so painfully, with far too much histrionic gnashing of teeth and rending of garments, transitioning into a world where you can choose your gender. But to choose to be another *race* entirely? To NOT be a mutant? (As Jay Guthrie chose.) To BECOME a mutant? (As Sinister chose, and Kwannon maybe, who knows, had chosen for her when she was mashed up with mutant Betsy and somehow an X-gene fell into her soup?)
