From X-Men to Green Lantern

Saw a thing where Nightcrawler teamed with Green Lantern so it got my thought process thinking, which X-person do you think would be an exceptional Green Lantern in the Marvel universe? My curiosity is peeked to say the least.

The problem with a system like the Green Lanterns where how much power they can get from their weapon is based on the strength of their will is that having a super-strong will is a prerequisite to being a super-hero for more than a few days, so there's nothing special about it. It's hard to find an established character who doesn't have extreme feats of will since testing the hero's will is a basic element of this kind of storytelling. It's very hard to say that Hal Jordan has a stronger will than Batman or Superman - there are even stories that conclusively prove Superman's will is stronger than Guy Gardner's.

Maybe the better question here is which X-character would be a good White, Indigo, Black, Orange, Yellow, Red or one of the other color spectrum Lanterns?

Strictly from a visual presentation standpoint, I'd love to see...

1. Magneto, Chamber, Colossus and Madelyne Pryor as Red Lanterns
2. Karma, Nightcrawler and Betsy as Indigo Lanterns
3. M and Kwannon as Star Sapphires (Pink/Violet Lanterns)
4. Professor X, Mastermind, Apocalypse and Legion as Yellow Lanterns
5. Emma and Mimic as Orange Lanterns
6. Storm as a White Lantern
7. The entire Summers clan (Vulcan, Havok, Cyclops, Rachel, Cable, etc.), and Kitty Pryde as Black Lanterns
8. Synch and Longshot as Blue Lanterns
9. Wolverines as Invisible Lanterns. In short, they'd be psychopaths with no corresponding color on the emotional spectrum.
