    It depends on how the industry gets defined. Further, the US Congress has been unwilling to let slip the regulatory dogs of war since breaking up the original AT&T. You see the occasional merger block, but usually only in extreme cases.

    Agreed. Buying stuff with debt on the strength of fairy tale revenue projections is one of the worst ideas finance wizards ever sold a market.

    Sonic, Top Gun, Mission Impossible and TMNT have been Paramount's biggest successes in the box office in recent years. Transformers stop being a juggernaut. They've had more misses than hits.
