After months of publicly dodging but privately saying he liked the idea of a 16-week federal ban, Trump posts video on Truth Social again praising end of Roe v Wade, saying it’s up to states to decide on specific bans, doesn’t support specific week limit, supports exceptions.

(The media, the NYT in particular, continue to sugarcoat Trump's stances. What happens if a ban crosses his desk? He doesn't say, but this article implies he wouldn't sign such a thing. Does anyone here actually believe that?)

Daily Telegraph is giving advice on best way to invest money in anticipation of Trump winning election. (Which…according to Telegraph is looking increasingly likely because even though economic conditions in US are really good overall, Biden is unpopular. Call me “Doubting Thomas” but I can’t remember too many incumbent Presidents losing when economy strong.)

Anyway according to Telegraph, Trump will insist on Treasury returning to super low interest rates (I guess the Trump businesses have borrowed heavily), and so shares will zoom up, especially those of small US companies, as Trump will follow protectionist policies with a high degree of keenness. So basically look for funds investing heavily in US small companies.

Not even the Telegraph recommends investing in Trumps own listed companies.

Graham breaks with Trump on national abortion ban

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) broke with former President Trump Monday over Trump’s decision to back away from endorsing a national 15-week abortion ban, declaring that leaving the issue entirely to the states “runs contrary to an American consensus that would limit late-term abortions.”

“I respectfully disagree with President Trump’s statement that abortion is a states’ rights issue,” he said in a statement responding to Trump.
As stated above you can't actually Trust trump or a GOP Congress here. Anyone falling for Trump's "position" here is silly if they actually were hedging their vote for him on that. Which has to not be that many you would think.

I hope people don't actually fall for this. He's such a fucking liar. And the suffering this has caused in each state with its own law is ongoing and happening as we speak. **** him

Not to worry. That was only temporary. Miss Lindsey will return to full on Trump slurping by the end of the day.

Trump to Sue Judge in Last-Ditch Attempt to Avert Manhattan Trial

Donald J. Trump, a week away from standing trial in Manhattan on criminal charges that he falsified records to cover up a sex scandal, has indicated he plans to file a lawsuit against the judge overseeing the case.

The lawsuit was not immediately made public, but court records showed on Monday that Mr. Trump was filing an action against the judge, Juan M. Merchan, in an 11th-hour bid to delay the case. An online court docket where Mr. Trump is filing the action showed that the related paperwork was sealed.

Two people with knowledge of the matter said that Mr. Trump’s lawyers on Monday planned to file the action calling on an appeals court to delay the trial and to challenge a gag order that Justice Merchan recently imposed on the former president. The order prevents Mr. Trump from attacking witnesses, prosecutors and the judge’s own family.

Mr. Trump’s unorthodox move — essentially an appeal in the form of a lawsuit — is unlikely to succeed, particularly so close to trial.
Desperation. He never says I didn't do it or here is my defense. Its just attack the judge, prosecution, and their families all the time.

On this day of ‘prophecy’, let me remind anyone who needs to hear it that we had a solar eclipse that was visible from Oregon on Oct. 14th of last year, and the Apocalypse didn’t come then, either.

We have a solar eclipse every year or so.

Just because one can be seen from America doesn’t make it ‘God’s judgement’ or ‘prophecy straight out of the Revelation’.

The Statue of Liberty being struck by lightning isn’t an ‘sign of God’s displeasure’. Lightning simply struck a metal statue that was the tallest object around.

The East Coast getting hit by a rare, but not unheard of minor earthquake is not a ‘sign of the end times’. It’s the tectonic plates shifting a bit, as has happened throughout all of human history. Did you know Oregon is overdue for a tsunami? Non-tropical Oregon. Rare environmental events in places we wouldn’t expect are not a ‘sign of God’s anger at the librul’.

And solar eclipses are not a warning from White Nationalist Jesus to Make America Pray Again. The orbit of the moon is simply taking it between the Earth and the Sun for a brief period of time.

This is all science. Just like we now know that the sun doesn’t go to sleep in the ocean until waking up to bring the dawn again, we know that none of this is supernatural or magical or miraculous. It’s just science happening.

    It happens.

It has happened many, many times before.

    We know this.

The eclipse is not a herald of the Apocalypse. The GOP once again picking Donald Trump as their presidential candidate again after 90+ indictments and just everything he’s said and done since losing his last bid for election, though…

That might be a sign of the Bey-pocolypse, but I can live in that fallout.

I thought the signs were when Trump makes sense, Gym Jordan sounds reasonable, and Lindsay Graham having a spine.

It's pushing 11% now. It might make it there before the closing bell. Maybe even 12.

Also, the far-right wannabe Onion "Babylon Bee" joked that Trump's position on abortion is "I dunno, whatever gets me elected."
