NEW: Full D.C. Circuit declines to rehear appeal of Trump gag order--and it wasn't even close. No member of the court even requested a vote to rehear the case.

And, of course, the full D.C. Circuit includes three Trump-nominated judges: Neomi Rao; Justin Walker; and Greg Katsas, who served in his White House Counsel's office. None of them did themselves any career favors today, but each of them protected the rule of law.

If anyone is so hung up on age, then tell them to vote for Nikki Haley. I would prefer if every sane American Voter voted for Biden, but with the field of choices narrowing, Haley is at least not Trump.

It's kind of messed up that Ben Shapiro continues to cape for this guy.
He probably thinks the negative stereotypes are things to aspire to.

Turkey's parliament voted to let Sweden into NATO, the law now needs to be signed by President Erdogan.

So in the last couple of days: Trump loses his appeal against the gag appeal, Biden wins against razor wire in front of SCOTUS, and Putin loses on the world stage.

    As we say here: Läuft.

And a new poll gives Biden an 8 point lead over Trump in Pennsylvania, an essential swing state.

I could claim to being aspirationally Japanese after spending a week in Tokyo twenty years ago, but that would be bull****, just like Muskrat’s claim. Yeah, this is CYA after all the antisemitism on The Website Formerly Known As Twitter.

Atomic scientists on Tuesday kept their "Doomsday Clock" set as close to midnight as ever before, citing Russia's actions on nuclear weapons amid its invasion of Ukraine, nuclear-armed Israel's Gaza war and worsening climate change as factors driving the risk of global catastrophe.
The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, as they did last year, set the clock at 90 seconds to midnight - the theoretical point of annihilation. Scientists set the clock based on "existential" risks to Earth and its people: nuclear threats, climate change and disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and new biotechnology.

Smoke em if you got em.

If Trump takes back the White House we’ll be milliseconds to midnight.

And he's the same jackoff that constantly goes off on anything trans-related.

    What a complete moron.

There was never any doubt. The only real question is the margin.

I guess Nimarata will drop out of the race any day now. No point in wasting time and money on what's already been decided.

Ryan Walters, Oklahoma's state schools superintendent, announced Tuesday that Chaya Raichik, the woman behind the “Libs of TikTok” social media account, has been named to an Oklahoma library media advisory committee.
Putting the bomb threat lady on a school advisory board is just awesome. It's always gonna be about 'owning the libs'.

n Oklahoma state lawmaker is proposing a bill that not only prohibits the production or dissemination of "unlawful" pornography, but also punishes those who watch media depicting sexual intercourse with fines.

State Sen. Dusty Deevers, R-Elgin, introduced an Act into the state legislature that, if approved, would prohibit Oklahomans from producing or disseminating "unlawful" pornographic materials lacking "serious" scientific, political, educational, literary or artistic value.

Florida plan to have taxpayers pay Trump’s legal bills nixed after DeSantis veto threat
A push by some Florida Republicans to use taxpayer money to help pay for former President Donald Trump’s multiple legal battles quickly fell apart after Gov. Ron DeSantis threatened to veto the legislation.

State Sen. Ileana Garcia, a Miami Republican who endorsed Trump’s reelection, has filed a bill for this year’s legislative session that could allow the state to hand out up to $5 million to the embattled Republican front-runner for president. The legislation has already won the endorsement from Jimmy Patronis, the state’s Republican chief financial officer, who for months has been publicly calling for taxpayers to pay to defend Trump from criminal charges.

But Garcia late Monday night announced she would withdraw the bill. Her move came less than two hours after DeSantis publicly posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that he did not support the measure.
